Nikki's Way Foundation Inc.
The establishment of Nikki's Way Foundation was inspired by Nakieta Jwan Cheadle who lost her battle to breast cancer. Mrs. Cobb resolved to begin a non-profit that will provide assistance to cancer patients and their families.
Our Program and Services
Our planned program will provide direct financial assistance to cancer patients and their families to cover expenses associated with the following types of needs:
- Health Insurance
- Medicines
- Home health care
- Utility bill payments
- Respite care
- Household assistance ( light cleaning, errands, light cooking, etc.)
- Funeral Cost
Our organization will work closely with cancer doctors, welfare agencies, and other community based organizations to identify individuals in need of assistance. Potential recipients will be required to fill out an application form that details their needs, by providing information such as, private insurance or Medicaid/Medicare.
In addition, we will require a photo identification and verification of income.
In order to ensure all distributions approved, will be paid directly to the institution providing the service for which we are providing funding, and at no time will monetary awards...
